DDT 134 : Descriptive Geometry
This course is designed to teach the fundamental concepts of descriptive geometry through an emphasis
on logical reasoning, visualization, and practical applications. Topics include orthographic projection, points
and lines in space, auxiliary views, plane representation, intersecting and nonintersecting lines, piercing and
intersecting planes, plane development, and calculations. Upon completion, students should be able to project and
intersect points, lines, and planes, with their relationships in space, as well as develop surfaces of an object
for fabrication purposes.
