CAB 101 : Introduction to Cabinetmaking
This is a beginning woodworking course which deals with basic materials and processes. Topics include
basic safety procedures while in the Cabinet shop, an introduction to the safe use of tools and equipment, basic
measurement principles, wood products, cutting, and fastening. Upon course completion, students should be able to
safely inspect and use shop equipment, measure, mark, and perform various types of cuts, and assemble a specified
project.
