ART 173 : Photography I
This course is an introduction to the art of photography. Emphasis is placed on the technical and
aesthetic aspects of photography with detailed instruction in darkroom techniques. Upon completion, students
should understand the camera as a creative tool, understand the films, chemicals and papers, and have a knowledge
of composition and history.
